I just got my ETA9089 approved from DOL and have two questions:
1. What is the time frame for employer to file I-140 after ETA9089 is approved, i.e. is there any expiration date on the ETA 9089? I don't see any expiration date on the form itself. My concern is that I have to travel abroad for couple of months and I don't have the actual H1-B stamp yet, only H1-B the approval notice.
2. Is it OK to travel outside US and get H1-B stamp in my home country while my I-140 is pending (without I-485 being filed concurrently)?
Anybody with similar experiences?
