What is the strategy to trigger the 485 processing. --- Interesting Topic

As like many of our folks, My 485 is pending since 11/2004 with a recepit date of August 2003. My case was transferred from VSC-TSC and had finger prints. Last week when I went on info pass, IO said that all the name check and finger prints were processed and cleared. She said every thing looks fine , come back in case if it is not approved in next month.

Under the circumstances of Limited visa numbers in 2007 , VISA consumption of existing applications in July, Flood of new arrival applications.

What would be our strategy to tigger the 485 processing in the first couple of weeks, so that our case will be approved before the gates were closed.

Any advice from the forum would be appreciated..
 
Same case here, i also went to Local office and got the same response that my name check is cleared and every thing looks fine on your case. she said to wait for approval soon as dates become current.

My lawyer said to contact local senators to speed up process. I am not sure if that helps because every one will do the same.

I guess it all depends on Luck at this moment.
