What is the status when the GC is mailed out?

Hi,

Just wondering what the USCIS status changes to when they mail out the plastic GC? When my case was approved a few days ago it said that a plastic card was ordered and would be mailed as soon as it was recieved. Then 4 days later I got my welcome letter. Now 3 working days after I got my welcome letter my status is updated again and reads -

This case has been approved. On November 7, 2005, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address.

This cant be the welcome letter can it? It was already in my mailbox 3 days before this new status. Is this my GC itself or is there another approval letter that goes out before the plastic GC is mailed? Also what does the status read when the GC itself is mailed out?

I guess that was the status since my plastic GC arrived today (less than 2 weeks after approval). I was expecting it yesterday based on the number of days that the welcome letter took to arrive (about 3 days) but I forgot that it was veterans day yesterday and the Post office did not work. Thanks for everyone who helped on this forum.

i also got the welcome letter yesterday and online status of my case is as following:
:
On November 9, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.


so i hope i will get my green card may b next weak.
