What is the status of I 539A

Hello Sir,
While my I 539 is in progress I had to travel to India, so My I -539 gets abandoned. For my children we applied I 539A where I am the Applicant and my children are the Beneficery. I travelled alone to India, where as my children are in USA, what will happen to my children's I-539A Application? Will it get abandoned ? Do I need to re apply for them ?

Hi! Since you were the primary applicant and you left the U.S. while your I-539 was still pending, your application is considered abandoned. Unfortunately, this can also affect your children’s I-539A applications, as they are dependent on yours. It’s best to consult an immigration attorney, but most likely, you’ll need to refile a new I-539 for your children with a new primary applicant who is in the U.S.
