What is the procedure to send correction letter for N-400

My name on GC is like John Doe and my legal name John Doe. But on my passport I have name John Smith Doe (with Smith as middle name).

But while filling N-400 application, I forgot to mention this "John Smith Doe" in Section C "If you have ever used other names, provide them below:"

Will this be a problem? Should I correct this? How?

What is the procedure to send correction letter for N-400?

Can I wait till interview to correct this? Or should I somehow correct it now?
If I correct during interview will it trigger another name check?

Note: My legal name is John Doe.

Please advise.
