What is the procedure for getting an EAD for wife?How long does it take?

Hi,
My LCA has been filed in Jan '04 in Delaware. Once that gets cleared I can apply for I-140 and I-485 simultaneously.However, when will my wife get EAD(at what stage?) Is there any process involved in getting EAD for her? She's currently on H1 and her 6 yrs period will expire in February 2005.

when filing 485

When ur. labor is clear, u will file 140 and 485 concurrently. At that time with 485 filing you can also file for EAD for both u and ur. wife. It should not maore than 2-3 months for you and ur. wife to get EAD after u file.

what are the documents that are needed to file for EAD - for myself and my wife. I would like to have them ready so I can apply for it as soon as my labor gets cleared.
