appriciated if anybody could tell what's going on with this..

i got stamped on my passport on 19th of July.

why can't you people please tell where you stamped so that everyone can get a idea. I think it would nice help to people to have an some sort of an idea regarding when they would get their cards.
 
Now i got mail on saturday...

"On August 6, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a
new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

So how long will this take? any idea?
 
come it is not even 3 days since you got the mail. Give it a week or 10 days and start worrying, atleast you are seeing the necessary progress. there is absolutely no reason to get panicky.
