What is the impact of company name change?

CP Gurus, my company name has changed while I am in process of sending
AC140. Do you guys know what can be impact of company name change? Do me or my attorney need to do any thing due to it?
Please advise.

emp letter

In the employment letter that you take for CP, your company should mention the name change, and the fact that it is still the same entity. Normally the tax id should not have changed, so you should be ok.
Consult your attorney.
