What is the ground for my father?

I have applied for political asylum last year and gave interview. I have been waiting for the interview results since 8 months. I recently got my EAD and working some job. Since, I am here, the guerrilla group who attacked me are threatening and harassing my parents and in one case, they assaulted my father. My dad applied for tourist visa to the US and thank god, he got it. So, can anyone please suggest me in the following questions?

1) Can I include him in my case?

2) If I can't, then if my dad applies, what kind of case should he file (ground)? Would it still be political since
he is being threatened because of me?

3) Since, I haven't got a decision myself, would it bar him to apply?

4) If any suggestion you have in my scenario?

I would really appreciate your help.

Thank You

Hi

your fathers case would be independent, if you get asylum your father can state it on interview. But yes father needs new independent evidence for him.

Congratulations anyway, I am curious what country is that, usually parents are often denied on visa when children are waiting for decision

Also what office you applied that you are waiting for 8 months for decision?

I had my interview in Anaheim.
So, can my father apply on the grounds of political asylum or would it be something different?
Also, for the new evidence, he has some medical records and some threat letters to prove it along with few evidences that I used which is common for both.

Has anyone been in the same situation like me where your parents wants to apply while your's is pending or approved?
