What is the difference between "Welcome Notice & Approval Notice"

Hi friends

Please if any one knows about this... Is it same between Welcome Notice or Approval Notice..

could u tell me what is the difference between that..

Welcome notice : the first email tells you that you got approved and say "welcome". :p

Approval notice : your physical G.Card is attached to the approval notice and mailed.

This is not true in my case, also as per customer service rep.
My understanding is GC approver receives either one of the notices. Take my example, I got welcome notice and physical card and my son received approval notice but still waiting for physical card. To further confuse both of our online status say "Approval notice sent".

Now bottom line if one receive "Welcome Notice" or "Approval Notice" and Physical card, then that is the end of story, I got this confirmed by rep.

May be....

In my case... I received first an email saying "Welcome Notice Mailed"
Then I got another email saying "Card Ordered for production"
Then I got another email saying "Approval Notice Sent".

I received physical Green Card attached to the approval notice ....
Then I received the Welcome Notice document ..... (though it was first mailed).

And this is the case in many of my friends' cases. Btw, it hardly matters what you receive or in what order you receive...
The thing that matters is " I485 Approved "...

So enjoy your happiness.
 
my wife and I received physical cards on 09/15/2007. Before that we received welcome notice. Do I still expect approval notice ? or we are done ?
 
You are 100% done

Check again the letter you received along with the physical card. On the middle right hand side of the document it should have mentioned approval notice. check again. As I said, the card is attached to the approval notice. Recheck / re-read the document.

My wife got only welcome notice and followed by the physical card. On Aug. 31, 2007 the approval notice was sent but till date we did not receive the approval notice. Not sure whether I need to worry about the approval notice or not?

IN my case I never got welcome notice instead got approval notice and the physical card.

Please help me out.....

First thing I had Biometrics is code (3) in May 2007, after that I got Welcome Notice in the e-mail first week of Sept, 2007 and I received Physical Notice in the mail box.

Now I received today again Biometrics is code (2) scheduled on 4 th week of Sept 2007.
Really I don't understand this one,
as per your opinion, did they missed my FP what I had it in May 2007 or else are they might not be uploaded

also same thing to spouse

Once again friends what I am asking from you give me your ideas or any body got same experience or any one else please...

what to do this problem

please help me out and it's really appreciates
