What is the difference between RD and ND ? Which date they mention in online status ?

Same here ...

My RD is 9/27/01; ND is 11/17/01 ~ The AVM says that my I-485 was "received" on Nov 17, 2001 (which is ND or Notice date) and it takes 365...days to process it. So is it 365 from 11.17.01 or 09.27.01?
 
RD - Receipt Date
ND - Notice Date

RD means the day your application has be offically received at the Center.

ND means when your application has been entered into the system.

INS uses RD as the baseline date for process and hence any message saying so and so days is noting but RD+ so and so days.
