great forum guys, keep it up 
So after reading the whole 7 pages that the search came up with, I'm still not sure about my question .. so here it goes:
- What is the best date to start my OPT, considering moving to H1-B next year? I'm graduating on May 5th, 2007.
I'm aware of the 60 day gratice period after graduation, but I don't think I'll use those right now. Probably those will help after the OPT expires ..
.. or I could use 60 days before OPT, and 60 days after OPT, and then move to H1-B ??

I also know that I'm supposed to apply for H1 (Oct. 2008 quota) in April 2007 at the earliest.
