Well, it depends if you in status or not? However, the average as far as I know for Chicago office from 2-6 Months! So, be prepared for the long waiting!
Sometimes, if the answer is negative, it could come fast than the positive ones. Cause it doesn't need a background security check and other related stuff.

Thank you bro

actually i asked a lawyer and he said 1 month sounds normal in Chicago , i dont know if he just wanted me to stop asking or it was a real answer ,,
any way in a couple of days a 30 days will be passed ,, i pray and wish and hope not to be like what you said 6 months !!! :(

but .. regarding negative answers , do you think i passed the hard time ? i mean if they would deny me, isnt it late for that by now?

If you didnt get a denial letter after a week it means probably your case was approved.

Are you in status? If yes, so, it's gonna be a long waiting! If NOT, it's gonna shorter but you will wait too! BTW, 30 Days is nothing if you compared it with ppl waited 14 months or so!

Regarding the denial, it's still possible and depends on your case!
