I have heard from someone that you can put your spouse\'s name at the time of FP. Is that true? What is the absolute last point in the I485 processing you can add ur spouse\'s name?
 
Add wife to I-485

From what my lawyer told me, for you wife to benefit from your I-485
you have to be married before you I-485 is approved by INS. i.e. the date that will be written on your I-485 approval.

I have friend that got married just before the interview...

You should check with your attorney since this is a critical issue

do you mean wife will go through interview process for " follow to join" case in 485 application?

My understanding is that the follow to join and the 485 are two different process. You can view the follow to join like a "consular processing" but during that time your wife is not in the US.
