What is scene for filing new H1Bs these days?

HI All,

Just want to know if anyone has filed for a new H1 especially anyone going from status H4 to H1.

- Any precautions while filing?
- What additional documents apart from the standard set to be on the safe side?
- Any issues with Bachelors degree other than Computers? (Mechanical?)
- How long does premium processing take? (in Chicago?)
