What is RD, ND for this I140 ?

Hi guys:

My friend recently applied for my I140 (subst labor).

His attorney said he sent my friends's I140 for processing to VSC on the 12/20/2004, and today the attorney gave him the EAC number for his case and I tried getting the status from USCIS website. this is what it says:

"Your _______ application was received on January 13, 2005. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between _____ days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete."

my friend dosent have the receipt papers ... but I am trying to find if the attorney made a fool of him by saying he "will send my application on the 20th itself". I have a question - What is the Date INS received this application, what is the RD date, what is the ND ? the website shows me LUD as 01/19/2005.

I am trying to know - when this attorney sent my friends application on 12/20/2004 by express fedex - why is INS saying they received it on the 13th ?

The attorney is lying. The RD is January 13, 2005. It was probably sitting on some paralegal's desk for 2 weeks. this is how they routinely work. BTW, why isn't your friend asking himself. why is he delegating you to ask this?

Mine is the exact same case...send to VSC on 12/20/04...website said recd on 01/10/05.
However, when I received the receipt notices from INS, they had RD as 12/20/04.
