Hi,
Thank you for everyone. I need a sicncere advise from you
Im a 25 year old Male living in Missouri on B1 visa legally. I have 3 more months to expire my I-94. I have a 25 year old white girlfriend who is US citizen. She is never married till now. We both are christian catholics.

We like to marry each other. I like to know the simplest way of getting married so that i can file for adjustment of status and permanent residence.
So which is the simplest way? How long it will take? How to obtain marriage licence for a foreinger who dont have social security or drivers licence? Im particulary interested to know in Missouri state.
Is there any different procedures for catholics? Is permission from church necessary?

Please advice me about this.

Bye

First go to your local county court house to apply the marrige license, then, find the Judge who administ the wedding (court house will provide you the information and earliest time that Judge is available to wed you. Show up at the scheduled time, exchange the vow, Judge signs your marriage license. You are done. Depends how busy the Judge is, it normally takes couple of days total.

Maybe you should rephrase what you just said:
"I like to know the simplest way of getting married because we really love each other and cannot bear to be apart"
The way you put it, some people might think you are getting married in order to seek an immigration benefit, which would be fraudulent and quite likely to get you deported if USCIS figure it out.

Once you are married, your USC spouse files I-130, I-485, I-864 and maybe other docs. In due course you will both be called to interview, at which time you need to convince the IO that you have a genuine marriage.

Thank you all of you. Your advices are really good. So i think the US drivers licence and SSN is not mandatory for non-citizens to apply for marriage licence?

I was not a US resident when I married my husband. If I remember correctly, I only needed to show my passport to the clerk at city hall in order to get a marriage license.

We didn't need to make an appointment to get married in front of a judge. They had judges at the city hall to marry people. Like everyone else, we lined up and waited to be called to go into a room and a judge married us.

Go to your city's government website. It should tell you if you will need a witness to get married. I believe that some states require it.
