What is my status in USA

Hello!

My H1 is with "X"-company with whom I am presently working for "X-A" client.

I filed I-485 with "Y" company and my EAD is due for one more month. (expecting july end).

My "X" company will cancel my H1 once I get my P.O. terminated by "X-A" client (which is going to happen by June'30th).

Do I need to find an employer for filing a new H1 or am I in status because I filed I-485.

Please somebody help me.

Did u get I-140, or still pending? If it is pending,

you have to apply H1 from Y company(or any other), that's safety for u.

If they cancel H1 , u may get query in the future.

once u get the ead its not a prob, you can work with Y-company.

Note: I am posting as of my knowledge...
