All I know is LUD means LAST update. Where do we check for this? I need to know the web link for this. I know how to check the status of a petition with INS. But how do you check the LUD? Please guide me . thanks in advance.
You create an account under (Case Status Portfolio with E-mail update) with the USCIS and put in your receipt numbers for your cases. EAD/AP/I-140/I-485 Etc.
Once you do this you can see the last updated date (LUD) on all your cases.
If something signifigant happens you can set it to email you.
You may see activity or LUD updates and you won't get an email. All this means is they are doing internal processes on your case. This is also explained on the bottom of the site once you sign up.
