What is iEAD

Once I file for EAD, when can I legally start working for a new employer on AC21. Do I have to wait the 5 months or so it takes for TSC to approve it ?

Also what is iEAD ?

I guess this is not an EAD renewal, but a new EAD. You will have to wait for EAD approval. If EAD application was filed 90 days ago, you can contact the local BCIS office for an interin EAD (iEAD).
