Hello! What should I wait after biometric are taken? the status on the USCIS web page is going to change? because mine stay as "Next step is an interview" (same status showed when my biometric appointment was scheduled.

What about the interview appointment, I know there are people waiting 2-3-4 years for the interview (people that filled the application before 2018), but what happen with the people that are filling application recently as this year? usually interview appointment is being scheduled soon or it is taken a lot too? any information about that?

Thanks.

The interviews are scheduled pretty much manually these days because of the drop in the number of applicants. Go ahead and ask your lawyer to call the local asylum office and ask for an available slot if you've been fingerprinted. If you wait, you will be at the mercy of some officer to give an appointment years from now
