NSC is approving Feb2004 and March2004 and at the same time is working on 2002 cases very slow!!! what is going on there?

good question....and what about 1/03? most of us haven't even received the FP2 letters yet.

oh WOW......I am not sure what's going on then. It looks like some officers are more efficient than others....

the funny sad thing is no one can answer this question, shouldn't be a weekly meetings for the service centers with the media? or the ALIA?

Where did you see March 2004 approvals (I know there are 3 Feb04 cases) - just give the link please!!!

New NSC processing dates not before 5th or 6th September

Just called customer service and got no useful info except that they will post new processing dates on their web site on 5th or on 6th September (I guess we do not have to bother checking every now and then before that).

maybe they plan to work on the weekend and really push those dates forward! hahaha
I wonder too. When I applied in March 2004, the processing date for I-485 was September 15, 2001. Now, six months later, it is February 1 2002. So they are moving on steadily (although slowly). We have seen here and at rupnet that a lot of cases from 2002 (long after February 1st) were approved. So I wonder what date will they show in the next web listing. If it still will be Feb. 1st - that only would mean they do not care to udate.

Conspiracy theory

West coast has lotta silican companies, badly need desi folks and push INS folks. East coast is close to capital hill, so things will move by political pressures. Midwest and South bunch of farmers dont need techies.
Rednecks rule! ;)

Dont' forget that they were stuck on Sep 2001 for a year.

I'd rather say that some are less lazy than others...

Stonewell,

I can see in Rupnet 4 RFEs issued for March 2004 filers, all the March 2004 filers received FP where in my case it takes me 8 months to get my FP, if you run the macro scan for any day in Feb 2004, you will see at least 1 approval and some RFEs.
Not everyone report his status in this forum specially the new filers.

I am very sure, a lot of resorses in NSC are now didicated for 2004 pilot process.

I think the guys of 2002 and specially the 2003 will have long wait before there cases get touched.

I485sept03, the time of 1st FP (looking at rupnet and here) has nothing to do with a chance for a sooner approval of I-485 (2nd FP maybe does - but only sometimes),
These weird NSC approvals with RD 04 are 0,00001% only, and they could not be in the pilot program for concurrent EB applications - only CSC had 90 days of pilot program for fast adjudications, not NSC (I wish it had).
