What is FP routing?

I recently went to Arlington local office for walk-in AP.

IIP mentioned that "VSC has asked for finger print routing that means your GC would be aproved soon".

Does anyone know what is FP routing?

Not sure, just concluding..!
Probably when one's case is being reviewed and about to be approved, there might a secondary/Final FP Check just b4 the approval..!! Just my thoughts..!!
