What is finger print enquiry date?

response from my F lawyer

e cannot call to inquire on fingerprints. These appointments are not
issued according to any particular timeframe. The only requirement is that
there is a valid set of fingerprints for you on file when your 485 is
adjudicated. If your case comes up for processing and there are no
fingerprints on file, then the USCIS will issue you an appointment notice.

We have never heard of an FP inquiry. You can certainly try calling the
NCSC at 1-800-375-5283 to find out. Let me know what they say.

Attorney's cannot call, but can send enquiry about Finger prints by regular mail. Iam still curious about the source of 'fingerprint enquiry date'...
