What is expedite processing?

I called USCIS 1-800..number and bugged the lady regarding my wife's I485 approval delay.

Finally she got bored and said that, if you beleive that your case is taking too long...then go for expedite processing request through fax.

What does it mean?

Is it advisable to go for it? Or is it a unnecessary risk?
 
I thought your cases were approved. Did you get any response?. I am coping the criteria for request to expedite processing from the form.

1. Severe financial loss to company (provide evidence);
2. Extreme emergency situation (i.e., recent earthquakes);
3. Humanitarian (reviewed on cases by case basis; if based on medical, provide physician
statement);
4. Nonprofit status of requesting organization in furtherance of the cultural and social interests
of the United States
5. Department Of Defense or National Interest (request must come from US government entity
and state the delay will be detrimental to US government);
6. Service error
7. Compelling interest of the Service

Thanks for your reply.

TSC don't want to break up my ties. So, they are not approving my wife and kids cases.

I have a desire though....

Can i add the following as eighth criteria in the expedite form.

8.Those RD is earlier than current processsing time by a month. :D

As POJ suggested, i am planning to use expedite form. Unable to think (TSC already sucked my thinking ability) what reason to put. Please help if you know some safe reasons.
