What is Concurrent Filing ?

I wanted to know what exactly is concurrent filing, do we file for I140, I485, I765, AP with their respective fees all together. Or do we have to file I140 initially, wait for the receipt and then file the rest.
Sorry if the question is too dumb but had to clarify this.

Concurrent filing = I-140 + I-485, with that you can also file I-765 (for work authorization) and I-131 (to travel)...

Thanks for the information.
I would like to apply for I140 and I485 concurrently along with my EAD. Could you please let me know what are required documents and forms. I have completed my Medical Examination. Do i need to fill any other froms along with 485 ? If someone can provide me a quick checklist it would be very helpful.
