What is Category on EAD?

i'm sure u r referring to Q 16 on i-765.
well talk about significance.. if u enter wrong category or leave it blank Your app for EAD can either be rejected rightaway or they will issue RFE if adjudicator is nice enough.

If ur 485 is filed then ur category is () (c) (09); some people write it as (c) (0) (9) but I sent mine as i said before and mine was approved no problems.

I'm assuming that ur 485 is Employment based so u can use c 09 cateory otherwise find ur category based on ur 485.
