What is Biography?

hello guys,
i have seen many people were asked by INS to give them The Biography?
do we have to give them our birth certificate or anything else? what paper work we need to provide for INS. any input appriciated.

Biography means the info about you,where you lived in the past etc.... The form name for this is G325A. You should have included this form at the time of I-485 filing. Birth Cetificate is different that you must provide at the time of I-485 filing and if not INS may send a RFE for this.

thanks for the info,
i gave my lawyer my birth certificate upon his request but he never mentioned Biography application. i am not sure if he filed that for me
or not. However i have been told by someone that only applicants with wife and kids will get that from INS. i am single. but once again maybe i get a RFE from VSC. My lawyer is so stupid. please let me know if you have any more input. thanks again for giving usefulinformation.

Hi hasanali, I am not sure whether an applicant whose status is single is not neccessary to file G325A form. I am married and have kids and at the time of my filing of I-485 I and my wife submited that form to INS. So take your attorney\'s help in this.
