Hello everybody,

What is A.V.M? Is it a automated voice message service? If so, what is the number to call for I-485 applications at the Nebraska Service Center? What personnel information do i have to have in order to get information regarding the status of my application?

You need to have the receipt number to check the status.
I think for NSC the format is LIN-XX-XXX-XXXXX.

It is automatic voice message system.

For Nebraska Service Center, the number is 402-323-7830. You can check the status of your I-485 case by entering the receipt number that starts with "SRC". You can find the receipt number on the top left corner of your I-485 receipt notice. You can find and verify the NSC number at this web site "http://www.e-nairobi.com/aos/"
