i On Nov 29 2001 we received your response to our request for evidence or information.
i It\'s taking between 330 and 360 days for us to process this kind of case.

i However, because the preliminary processing was complete before we requested the additional material, the remaining processing time for this stage of your case is approx. 360 days.
i You will receive a written decision on this case.

My info:
RD 10/2/00, ND 11/1/00
Never received any RFE and never responded to one (unless they mean this yellow form they send me back in March along with fingerprints notice).
What\'s this deal with preliminary processing, and remaining time of another 360 days.
Any insights highly appreciated

..

It appears that your case received RFE reply. May be your lawyer sent
one and he/she didn\'t tell you, may be because it was simple RFE.
Or you could have entered a wrond LIN number on the phone Dialpad!?.

No Title

5thYear,
Thank you for your response.
I\'m positive I entered the right number.
Maybe it was my lawyer, but when I sent him an email asking what this could mean, he replied saying to call him after Dec 11, when he\'s back from Argentina.
Maybe INS just entered my response to the yellow sheet from March,
and that\'s what triggered this message.
Somebody told me that\'s pretty standard message after response to RFE, and don\'t mind the 360 days (flawed system).
Can anybody confirm this, please.
PS
The same message goes for my daughter, but my wife\'s message is still the old: "we received your app.."

I was approved

I had RFE on Birth Certificate and Medical. My AVM after I replied to RFE is exactly the same as you mentioned above. I got approval notice yesterday and got my PP stamped just an hour ago. I also checked with my lawer and confirmed that in case of a RFE, the time mentioned in aVM and the line "... written decision...." have no meaning.

Good luck guys...

There was an RFE after all

It turned out my lawyer got this rfe (birth cert.), and he responded to it.
I know already that this is pretty standard message after INS receives the response. The another 360 days is just the BS.
So, if anybody hears this message, don\'t worry, the approval is getting closer.
Still waiting

Radek, did you ask your Lawyer if he received approval letter? It looks like AVM has not been update

AVM not updated

Last time I heard from my lawyer was on Monday, when he received RFE for my wife, this time (previous was for myself and my daughter).
Apparently he hadn\'t received the approval by that time.
I\'m kinda hoping that maybe it\'s already approved, and only AMV hasn\'t changed. I noticed that it happened to several guys.
Thanks,
Radek
