What if you laid off after filing I-485?

What was ur status, currently employed etc.
Im currently on H1 (6th yr.)which will b expiring in October,2004.
and my I-485 will be filed in Jan,'04 2nd week. My project will be ending by end of Jan. Will this effect I485?
and also what if i change the address during the 2nd month filing of I485?
please let me know all the effects.

Is it a concurrent filing or separate filings for 140 and 485?

Depends on what your company will do. If they terminate you and inform BCIS, then your GC process comes to a halt. If they don't inform, then you can join another company using H1 transfer.
