What if they did not ask for more finger print?

Filed I485 last May and I did my finger print for VSC eb2 NIW last June. Nothing from them yet... The question is, where is my case?

I called once and one nice officier told me because of priority date, they have not started working on my case.

Does this mean these guys have not sent my finger print to FBI for name check yet?

or does it mean I am already in the name check process but waiting for priority date?

FP check has nothing to do with name check, see details in my former posts.
FPs are valid for 15 months, so now you are fine, after 15 months if your PD will be current, you may start worrying about it done again...
 
my case is waiting for security clearance

Called today, one officier, after clicking on her computer, told me my case is waiting for security clearance... what is that?
