What if.. receive RFE while abroad?

I have a scheduled abroad trip for 3 months, what happens if I get an RFE on my 485 especially Medical? ( assuming that the attorney would be able reply all other RFEs).

Is there a provision to postpone the reply? Any other way?

you got 12 weeks to reply to RFE, otherwise you will be under the risk of being denied.

I don't know how can you apply for extension.

Yes, your attorney can request USCIS to postpone the RFE response deadline with proper reason.
