What if laid off and can not find another job immediately?

This is a theretical concern that I have. With the job market being not so good, we may get laid off and can not find another job immediately. Does the new rule touch on that situation? How much time do we have to find another job, even if we have I-485 pending for more than 180 days?

If they don\'t send your rfe, you are safe to get your GC. If you get a rfe for emp. letter and you cannot provide, they will deny your case. I think you can afford to lose your job before your reply your rfe.
