What if I do it anyway?

What if i file i-130 without the affidavit of support; since i can't provide one now? would I get a priority date anyway?

I am thinking about doing this because i don't want to waste time looking for a sponsor. I guess they would receive my application and issue me a priority date, but before they finalize anything they would ask for an affidavit of support.

Please share your thoughts and advises!

What are your circumstances?

IIRC you don't need Affidavit of Support to file I-130, its only required when you file for AOS (I-485).
