Dilemma on using AC-21 - Please clarify
My I-140 was approved on 09/30/2005.
I-485 notice date 02/27/2006.
VSC USCIS web site is showing 02/15/2006 as the processing date for I-485 applications. I'm in the process of changing a job in the next 15days using AC-21.
Here are couple of possible scenarios since the USCIS I-485 processing date is so close to my I-485 notice date which is 02/27/2006.
Scenario#1
I resign my current company with 2 week notice. So, my end date with current company would be December 8, 2006(Friday) and the new job starts on 12/11/2006(Monday). What if my I-485 gets approved before I get a chance to inform USCIS about my job change? Does this situation sound trouble for me? Please comment.
Scenario#2
I resign my current company with 2 week notice. So, my end date with current company would be December 8, 2006(Friday) and start the new job on 12/11/2006(Monday). What if my I-485 gets approved during 2 week notice period? Is it advisable for me to stick with the current company for few more months?
