What if GC rejected...

Hi,
I am working on EAD and have 11/2 years left to complete my 6 years limit.
What if my GC is stopped/cancelled/rejected. Will i loose my EAD immediately?
Can i ask my company to file for H! and continue to work?, if so, will be it new H1 or renewal of my old H1, which expired long back?

Why worry so much?

If you are on EAD, your I-485 is under processing and GC is not far. However if you want to go thru the whole INS experience ask your employer to stop/cancel your application and file for a new H1. Good luck.

I do not intend to concel my GC. However, WHAT IF GC is cancelled/stopped. will i loose my EAD immediately or will i have time to file for new H1

EAD Expires

EAD is dependent on GC process. It expires as soon
as I-485 process is completed. It becomes void independent
of the decision type.
