What if FP done early?

I got my FP2 scheduled for August, 2004. But I did early FP2 (Last week of June, 2004), due to my proposed visit to India during this month end. However my case status or LUD did not change.

Is there anything like, even if the finger prints are taken early, USCIS will send them for FBI review only on the original schedule date?

Advance FP

I have got my FP2 done in advance. How to track if the FP2 has been sent/updated? One thing I know is USCIS message( LUD), which never changes for most of us.

My details are as follows:

ND 6/20/02
FP1 8/17/02 rcvd by USCIS 8/21/02
FP2 scheduled for 8/4/04, done 6/26/04, USCIS rcvd ???
AP1, AP2, EAD1, EAD2 long back
AP3, AP3 5/18/04

The LUD does change finally. I too did early FP2- it took about 3+ weeks for LUD to change(the msg did not).

The moment you complete your FP, they will automatically sent to FBI, irrespective of ealy FP or on-time FP. I did early FP in June and my status or LUD did not change till now, but when i called FBI today, they said that they have sent the results on the same day they have received it (which is the day on which i had FP2 done).
So just sit tight and wait for the approval.

I am just wondering impact of early 2FP

I am just wondering if the early 2FP will definitly have a positive impact on processing speed? or at least it will not have any negative impact, or confusing the USICS?

At least there's no indication that doing an early FP will get you approved sooner. I think it will probably do more harm than good...
