What if Ammended 140 is not Cleared and going for Finger printing?Gurus please Help ?

Hi! All
what happend if the ammended 140 is not cleared and if i go for Finger printing ?
will they issue a Query ?
What are the alternatives if i get laid off before the before the ammended 140 is cleared ?
Can i still use my EAD and Look for a Job ? what happens if i get a Query ?
Has EAD and I-140 cleared with Old Company?

its okay to go for finger printing

i filed my amended I140 on march 2001 but i did my finger printing after that,
but my i140 got approved on oct 2 2001 , and i got an RFE for my paystubs and W2
still waiting
