Here's the scenario:

Miss Colgate obtains a greencard and lives in the US for 4 year continuosly.

She moves back to her home country for 7 years. No visit to US during those 7 years.

She applies and receives a B-1 tourist visa from the US consulate.

She visits the US three times using that B-1 visa during the next few years.

Is her greencard gone forever, or does she still have a remote chance
of getting it back?

Thanks! :)

Well, Miss Colgate has to get out of her sleep and its time
for her to wake up and brush her teeth & get back to work; thinking that her
dream would come true would be out of question.

That card is dead and gone. She can apply for a fresh new one by starting the process from scratch, but can't get back the validity of that old one.
