What happens if your PD becomes current?

Ok, so the senate has passed its version of immigration reform. Most will acknowledge that EB-3 will benefit as a result of the visa number increases.

Keeping in mind that the provisions of this bill, assuming it survives conference, likely won't go into effect until 2007 sometime, what happens if your PD becomes current in the meantime?

What I mean is, will your viewpoint on the bill change? If you get a green card and the bill is still outstanding, will you still have the same sympathy to those stuck in line?

Why ask? Because EB-3 world crossed the 245(i) deadline in the June 2006 bulletin. I'm speculating that we could continue to see advances for the rest of this fiscal year. I would not be surprised if the EB-3 world PD is into 2003 over the next few months.

What do you think? Would you still care about the plight of others?
