What happens if applied for AP renewal when the..

If the applicant(dependent) is out of country and if the AP renewal(3rd AP) is applied what happens? Do they approve or reject? Has anyone done this before?

One has to be in the US to apply for AP. Otherwise it will be rejected.

I am not sure about it. I know of cases where people have applied for AP and went to India and they got the AP approved and their friends have sent the approval copies to these guys by post. Ofcourse, i haven't heard about a case where any one has applied for AP from abroad. Sounds difficult.
