What happens after 2nd FP

Gurus,

My wife and I recieved 2nd FP appts for Aug 18, 04 at San Jose. We completed the 2nd FP early on Saturday July 17. We are Dec 02 VSC 485 filers.

I just wanted to know what is the procedure after 2nd FP, I see a lot of discussion here about FBI, name check, LUD changes etc..... How can I check any of these?

There is no procedure. Expect anything or nothing for a while. There are numbers and faxes that you can check your FP and name check. By the way, I do not think it will be any faster since you did early second FP!

I do have known many folks who have completed 2nd finger printing and are waiting for almost 4 months now at VSC without even seeing LUD change..

What you should expect first is a LUD update indicating that the results of the FP have been received, most likely not resulting in a status message change or an email. After that, it is anyone's guess, but it usually takes 1 to 3 months to see an approval or otherwise. Good luck.
