Does anyone know what happens after 2 failed attempt to get a legible set of fingerprints (for I-485 through employment)? First time 5 months ago fingers were too cracked. Second attempt 1 month later also too cracked for good set of prints.

No word since.

Anyone know what happens next?

Thanks

get an infopass appointment..you will be given a chance again..opt for a place where the finger printing is outsourced to a third party. The third time they really try to coax out the prints.
If they fail to get the prints which does happen in some cases...(most people having Palmar Hyperhidrosis have this problem), they then ask you to get a police clearence certificate from the places where you resided in the last three years based on the addresses you provided.Your finger prints will be taken with ink and checked at the local presinct. Most places in Virginia, Texas, Georgia give you instant clearence...New york takes 12 working days.

Thanks for the suggestion. But I think it might be too late for infopass. Just received e-mail that my case was transferred to local office to
"speed up" processing.
