What happened to the approvals

I remember just the week before christmas there were lot of posts in this forum as to how NSC was approving so many cases, and they were approving jan/feb/march cases and so on. I thought that NSC was in a swing, but in the last couple of weeks, I haven't seen the same trend of approvals.

Maybe because of just 2-3 working days the week of christmas and 3 working days last week, but hopefully this week they should be back in high gear.

Anyone?

The 'big-brother' system of collecting all 'non-anglo-saxon' visitors' fingerprints and photographs is being implemented from today. It is very likely that all kinds of minor immigration rule violators and petty criminals will be trapped in this dragnet, which of-course means that the already emasculated INS cadre will have a hard time just keeping from drowning in the sea of dossiers that will be generated.

With regard to the I-485s piling up, who cares!:p
