Hey Adjustee - Excuse me but could you please clarify some details about your rfe.
You say that you sent in a n"New offer letter". Why did you send a new offer letter if you never changed your job. Why did you not send a letter from your existing employer.
In my opinion, the trnsfr could be only because of 2 reaseons in your case:
1. IIO may not be satisfied by proof of employment verification.
2. Recent marriage before filing 485.
In either case do not worry. Hold your breath - then take a deep breath and let the tension out. Now listen carefully. Just make sure you prepare yourself for the interview. Carry a letter from current employer (who filed 140/485) confirming your employment, position and salary. If you changed employer, then get a similar letter from new employer confirming job details are sme as that in the labor. Carry proof of marriage - marriage cert, photos, joint bank statements with proof of same residence, etc.
Also carry all your paystubs from current, previuos employment, all H1B approvals, I-94 (original), and all previous IT returns.
You should be fine. Don't sweat. I understand your pain, but get prepared for the interview and go confidently prepared, not scared. You'll see your approval preety soon, maybe in 2-3 months. So cheer up.
T-Rex.
