For folks who have done Fingerprinting in Dec, Jan, Feb what does your status online say. Is it the 990 – 999 days or is it the Finger printing received date message. Any input is welcome. A friend of mine had his 990-days message change back to Fingerprinting received message. So I am trying to make sense if TSC has resumed processing or not.

I did my FP on Jan. 2nd. The online/AVM currently says "On Jan. 8th, the results of your FP was ... and processing was resumed ...".

But I don't think "processing has resumed" means that the case has been assigned to some officer. Am I right?

I thought that if the message changed to 900 – 999 days and then back to FP processed then the processing could have started. But if it has happened to several people then BCIS must have just changed the message to 900 – 999 days temporarily and then changed it back to the FP message. You are right, “processing has resumed” does not mean it has been assigned to an officer.
