What does this status message mean?

Hi gurus,

Today I received an email from CRIS


Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On April 24, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.


Does this mean that this application is approved? If so, do I need to get another biometrics appointment in order for the card to be produced? I've had my code 3 biometrics done Oct 2005. My picture was taken at that time, but that was a long time ago.

Thanks for the warm reception! :D

And thanks to all the people who are responsible for putting up this message board. Reading your posts and sharing your experiences have been very helpful to me, both in terms of logistics and emotional support. Without it, I would've been left out in the dark and paranoid. Having my 485 case denied last August caused a lot of angst in me... It's very good to know that the nightmare is almost over... I just need to wait for the actual card...

I've just received my GC in the mail today. Today's date is definetly one of those days to remember!
