What does this online status mean????? HELP PLEASE !!!!

I filed my I-485 petition on March of 2003. On September 9, 2004 I received the transfer notice mail from VSC indicating that my I-485 has been transfered to the local INS office to schedule interview with me. the INS online status also showed the same transfer info.

Just last Friday when I checked the online status again I was so shocked by the following info.

Current Status:

On September 24, 2004, your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received here for processing. It is taking between 365 and 540 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete.

What does this mean? Does it mean VSC will process my case all over again?

I am so confused and frustrated. Did anyone else experience the same weird info from online status?

What should I do?

Please help!!!! Thank you so much !!!!
 
Hi, do not get frustrated... is your EAC number the same as before? and what is your ND? If your EAC number is same as before, then I think you do not need to worry.

Why did they transfer your case? Did you change the company? IF so, then they transfer the case. Now once you are interviewed at Local office, you should get your approval.

Dont get frustated . if you received the written statement from VSC that is correct
 
Thank you so much for your guys' reply and I feel much better now.

I think you are right. I changed my job after I filed I-485 through NIW. That may be the reason they want to interview me. I will post my update to you guys later.

Don't get frustrated. Just Relax. It is very common. Just enjoy and relax. Don't worry about it too much.

You will get your interview soon (don't trust 365 days and 540 days-- that's standard message.) or maybe you will get your approval directly.
