I filed an inquiry about my I-485 last week since my I-485 receipt date is 4/27/2004 which is earlier than the current NSC processing date ( I am Eb1-OR). Today I received a message from USCIS. It said:
"..... Your application is awaiting assignment to an Officer, you will be notified when a decision has been made or if additional information is needed......".
What does it mean? I thought they assigned an officer to my case from the beginning.
